Description
The NG Fortran…. but more of it. The NG Cobol adds an extra fifth to the bottom range of the instrument, starting from a low C. For the rest it is very similar to the Fortran.
It has 3 melody strings, tuned G3, C3 and C4, three drones (C/G/A), and two trumpet strings (c/g). Compared to the BASIC and Linotte, it has a fuller and more modern sound with more mid-range. The silicon sleeved tangents improve the response of the keyboard. The larger keybox and wheel make it feel more robust, and give more control over chien and melody. There are capo’s on both trumpet strings (c->d and g->a), as well as on the lowest drone (c->d)
